    interested to find out about the pelangi low cost flats. Firstly, can anyone buy the flats?. I know that not everyone can qualify to buy a brand new low cost flat. Does it apply for 2nd owners?

    The criteria to be eligible for a PPR home in Selangor are:

    ● total household income (for those single or married) should not be above RM2,500 a month

    ● applicants should not already own a home

    ● must be above the age of 18

    ● must be a Malaysian citizen

    For PPR homes in KL, the criteria are:

    ● applicants must be married

    ● joint household income must not exceed RM2,000

    ● the husband or wife must not own a home or land within a 35km radius from the KL city centre and Klang Valley.
